Meeting our future customers at residents’ event | energetik news

We recently invited residents from the Ladderswood estate to a welcome workshop where they could learn more about energetik and meet some of the team face to face. The new homes on the development will be the first to connect to our Arnos Grove heat network.

Community heating is new for many people, so we like to get out and chat about it with the most important people for our business – our customers. We think it’s really important to help our customers understand their heating system before they move in.

We held the event at Garfield Primary School over an afternoon in half term, where residents could pop in whenever suited them. There were various stations set up where residents could chat to the team about energetik and their new heating system and ask questions over a cup of tea.

Our aim was to have our future customers leave the event with a better understanding of energetik as their new heat supplier. We explained the different ways they could top up and pay as you go, and showed them our new customer website. To help explain how it will all work, we used a demonstration smart meter. All homes connected to energetik will have a smart meter installed on their wall, like a tablet device. Residents had the chance to use the smart meter, and our team showed the ways it can help them manage their energy use better and save money.
